Women's Sports Foundation's
Biennial Summit
2001

WHO: The Summit serves the needs of individuals from multiple constituencies including academicians, athletes, athletic administrators, coaches, Foundation members, journalists, lawyers, marketers, media, parents, physical educators, sponsors, sporting goods manufacturers, students and national leaders and other representatives of organizations providing sports and fitness to girls and women.

WHY: The Women's Sports Foundation Summit 2001 is a unique opportunity for you to interact with a cross section of men and women involved in girls and women's sports and fitness. The Summit offers new ideas, a setting for exchanging information and the latest data about women's sports and fitness. Equally important, you'll have the opportunity to network with others who have an investment in the growth of sports and fitness programs for girls and women.

WHERE: The Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas in Scottsdale, Arizona is the site for the Women's Sports Foundation Summit 2001. It is located in the scenic southwest city of Scottsdale, a beautiful area surrounded by desert hills and canyons. Visitors can expect a warm, comfortable climate while they swim, bike, golf, hike, or go white-water rafting. Museums and cultural events offer a wonderful experience for visitors and Summit attendees alike.

For special Summit 2001 hotel rates at the Hilton Scottsdale, call the Reservation Department at 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-528-3119) and be sure to identify yourself as a Women's Sports Foundation Summit Attendee. Special Summit 2001 room rates start at $139 for a single and go up to $299 for a villa, plus applicable state and local taxes if reserved before March 22, 2001. There will be a small increase between March 23 and April 1. All room reservations must be made no later than April 1, 2001. Reservations received by the hotel after April 1 will be on a space and rate availability basis. The Foundation will also make every effort to match individuals for the purpose of sharing hotel room expenses, if so desired.
