Women’s talk radio show moves from KMET to KDWN radio!

She Got Game!LAS VEGAS, NV.   Carol Ann Weber, the radio host of SHE GOT GAME!, the first women’s sports talk radio show, has moved her groundbreaking show from KMET 1490 One on One Sports in Southern California’s Inland Empire to KDWN radio, 720 AM, based in Las Vegas, Nevada.  With a 50,000 watt clear channel output, KDWN is bringing this exciting show to an ever broadening listening audience which now encompasses not only 14 states (all of California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Oregon, Washington, as well as Old Mexico and British Columbia) but a global audience by way of webcasting live from the radio station’s website, kdwn.com

The show is regularly scheduled on Sunday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The shows fast paced format will include up-to-the-minute hot headlines in women’s sports, the movers and shakers themselves as in-studio guests, and on-the-spot interviews at both local and national women’s sports events.

For the past 12 years, Weber has been the premier female columnist, feature writer and contributing editor to every major bodybuilding and fitness magazine in the industry. As a result of her experience and reputation, she continues to land high profile interviews.  A major advocate for female athletes, she developed a “women in sports” series for Oxygen magazine, which has included stories on the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks, track and field gold medalist Gail Devers, Olympic softball gold medalist Dr. Dot Richardson, high jumper Amy Acuff and the world record holder in the women’s pole vault, Stacy Dragila.

Weber has featured one-on-one interviews with the biggest names in women’s sports, including Billie Jean King, Gail Devers, Dot Richardson, Lisa Leslie, Cynthia Cooper, Pat Summitt, Mia St. John, Nancy Lieberman-Cline, Anita DeFrantz, Mia Hamm, Julie Foudy and more.
