Women's Sports Foundation 
2002 Annual Salute



NEW YORK NY (September 2002) The Waldorf Astoria in New York City plays host to more than 1,300 supporters of girls and women in sport including over 80 champion female athletes. They will gather together on October 21, 2002, to pay tribute to the top female athletes in the world and to raise funds for the efforts of the Women's Sports Foundation. For the second consecutive year, a live and silent auction will take place featuring autographed memorabilia, spa packages, and tickets to see your favorite teams compete! SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
6:30pm - Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction
7:30pm - Dinner
9:00pm - Awards Ceremony (Sportswomen of the Year, International Women's Sports Hall of Fame, Billie Jean King Contribution Award, Wilma Rudolph Courage Award)
10:30pm - Champagne Reception, Live and Silent Auction
