Dr. Karol Anne

- Associate Director of Athletics – Development
- Began her career at the University of Illinois in 1966 as instructor in the College of Physical Education and coordinated the
Women’s Extramural Sports Association before being named Assistant Athletics Director in 1974 and Associate Athletic Director in 1985. She served as Senior Woman Administrator until 1998
and as interim Director of Athletics in 1988
- Member of numerous committees including NCAA, Cost Containment Committee, National Association of Collegiate Directors of
Athletics, Executive Committee. Served on the Executive Board of the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women
- Served as basketball, volleyball and softball coach during her collegiate coaching career. Also coached girls’
volleyball, basketball, softball, soccer and tennis at O’Keefe High School in Atlanta, GA
- Past President, National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators
