Prior to coming to Valparaiso University, Nona was the Head Volleyball Coach at Eastern Michigan and the Assistant Volleyball
Coach at the University of Kentucky

Nona received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Michigan State University and her Master of Arts Degree from
Valparaiso University

Nona competed as stand-out volleyball player at Michigan State and was selected as the Team Co-Captain and the Team’s Most
Valuable Player

Nona is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association, National Association of Athletic Compliance Coordinators,
Black Coaches Association, and National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators
