LadysGolf.comHUNTINGTON BEACH, CA.  If you love golf, yet have had a hard time finding the products and information that you need to really enjoy the game, then LadysGolf.com is a site worth checking out. For many women shopping for equipment was intimidating, finding stylish clothes that fit was impossible and learning about the rules, etiquette and many other intricacies of the game was no small feat, according to Jean W. Boudreau, Founder, President and CEO of LadysGolf.com. Boudreau's vision was to create an oasis for women golfers - a place where women could shop, learn and share in their passion for the game of golf. It was through this vision that LadysGolf.com was founded.

Despite golf's booming popularity in the region, Boudreau found accessibility to women's equipment and accessories to be inadequate.  Together with her husband and partner Jim, Boudreau, opened LadysGolf.com, the first retail store in central Massachusetts dedicated exclusively to the woman golfer. Based on the stores success more stores will open throughout the country.

LadysGolf.com also holds the distinction of labeling itself both a retail outlet and Internet site, drawing the attention of women golfers both in person and in cyberspace. The mission of LadysGolf.com is to enhance women's participation in the game of golf through both retail outlets and its new Online Center.

The company is working hard to further develop the LadysGolf.com web site into a comprehensive on-line center for women's golf. The goal of the Web Site is to create a place where women can come together to share in their passion for the game and have access to a wide variety of information and products. The site will offer golf news and articles, travel information, course guides, league and event information, instruction tips and other great tools and resources. Discussion boards are also here for you to chat with other women golfers throughout the country and share your experiences.

According to the National Golf Foundation, one-third of all new golfers are women; women now represent 20 percent of the overall golf population, yet only 5 percent of retail space is devoted to women, which is why Boudreau, has enthusiastically launched this venture.

''I love the game, but it was very frustrating trying to find the right products to play the game, from apparel-to-equipment-to-accessories-to-service. We're striving to provide products and service in a comfortable environment for women, says Boudreau.

Looking beyond the retail needs of the woman golfer, the company believes the time is right for the online venture of LadysGolf.com. The Web site is customer-friendly and tailored more like a magazine, with product information, tips on technique and recent news articles posted alongside company background.
