Nashville  Dream Women's Football Team Gears Up For New Season With New Coaches,
New Management And New Opponents!

NASHVILLE, TN. (February 26, 2001). In October, the Nashville Dream women's football team played a six game exhibition preseason. At that time, there were only two teams in the start up National Women's Football League. Now, there are ten!

Beginning April 21, 2001, the Nashville Dream will bring some of the top female athletes together again for some "go for the long one, smash mouth, full tackle football.". The team this year will be lead by newly hired Head Coach Steven Burris.

The Dream opponents this year will include the Chattanooga Locomotion, the Tennessee Venom, the Alabama Renegades and the Pensacola Power. The Dream will play four home games and four away games. The home games are Saturday, April 21, Saturday May 5, Sunday, May 20 and Saturday, June 9. All games are held at the White's Creek High School with kick-off at 1:00pm. Season tickets are now on sale. All VIP season ticket packages include a Nashville Dream T-shirt and special seating.

Dream owner, Catherine Masters has announced several new staff appointments: Ahndi Coffey has been appointed General Manager, C.J. Gibbs has been appointed VP of Administration and Danny Wood has been appointed VP of Merchandising. "With these new appointments, we feel we will be better able to service our team and our fans," states owner, Catherine Masters.
