highlights Sissi's “Coolness”

 

SAN JOSE  CA (Oct. 24, 2001) - The upcoming issue of Sports Illustrated Women names the CyberRays' star midfielder, Sissi, one of 13 women it calls ``The Coolest Girls in Sports 2001.''

 

Sissi's mini-profile in the issue, available on newsstands Monday, describes her youth in Esplanada, Brazil, where she used doll heads as soccer balls and why she finds the United States a more welcoming environment for female athletes than her homeland.

 

Along with Sissi, whom the magazine describes as ``The Individual,'' the other coolest girls in sports are:
