United States Alpine Skier Jonna Mendes

To Be Represented By Bai

 

New York, NY  (October 31, 2001) Bober Associates, Inc. (BAI) is pleased to announce that it will be the exclusive representative for United States Alpine Ski Team member and 2002 Olympic medal hopeful Jonna Mendes.

 

Currently ranked 17th in the World Cup standings, Jonna has developed into one of the best young talents on the United Stated Ski team. Starting her career as a downhiller and super G racer, Jonna won her first U.S. title as a giant slalom racer in 2001, while continuing to excel in the other disciplines. She was an 18 year-old Olympian in Nagano, Japan, and made a successful transition that year from World Juniors where she had garnered the silver medal in the 1998 and 1999 World Cup Downhill.

 

Jonna joins BAI, an organization whose focus is representing elite female athletes and broadcasters from a variety of sports, including Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly, Kate Sobrero, Tisha Venturini, Lorrie Fair, Ronnie Fair, Cindy Parlow, Heather Mitts, and Nikki Serlenga from the newly formed Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA), sideline and in studio host Bonnie Bernstein from CBS Sports, TNT and ESPN Soccer analyst Wendy Gebauer, three time World Champion surfer Layne Beachley, 2-Time Olympic Gold Medal winning softball pitcher Michele Smith,  Shea Ralph from the WNBA, and a variety of other female athletes and broadcasters from a diverse list of sports.
