(September 7, 2001) WUSA Champion CyberRays’ SAN
JOSE CA (Sept. 7, 2001) – The Bay Area CyberRays’ bandwagon took fans on the
longest ride in the WUSA this season – all the way to the
championship. For fans who would like to ride along next season,
now is a great time to climb aboard by buying season tickets for the 2002
games, which will be played at Spartan Stadium in San Jose. First
dibs go to our inaugural season ticket-holders, who are invited to retain
their same seats, upgrade or add additional seats to their accounts by placing
a $75 per seat deposit by Oct. 22. On that date, season ticket sales will be
opened to the public on a first-come, first-served basis for a $75 per seat
deposit. The
CyberRays will hold the price line for the 2002, keeping the price per game
the same as it was for the inaugural season. That
means Gold Section seats will be $28 per game, Silver Section seats $18 per
game, Bronze Section seats $14 per game and CyberZone seats $9 per game.
You can check out the Spartan Stadium seating chart at http://www.bayareacyberrays.com/tickets/tix_seating.html. However,
we do expect to pick up an 11th home game on the 2002 schedule, so the total
season package cost may increase over the 2001 package, which included 10 home
games. We expect the WUSA schedule to be released some time this winter. Current
season ticket-holders may call (408) 535-0980, or visit our offices at
CyberRays Tower – where the elevator always runs to the top floor – at
1991 Park Ave., San Jose. Deposit with a major credit card, check or cash. [Contact:
