Nikken Signs on as
SupHer Bowl Sponsor
NASHVILLE TN (July 12, 2002) Nikken is
the world's largest preventative health and wellness company established
in 1975. Nikken is credited with fueling the new magnetic trend. Nikken
produced the world's first support wrap providing 100 percent magnetic
coverage. "The reason why many athletic trainers are considering
the use of magnets is that they reduce discomfort and promote
healing," states Donna Daye Kitchton, Mental and Physical Health
Counselor, Independent Wellness Consultant. "Being the first
director (1996) of women's fitness and recreation at Xerox Corporation,
I agree that the NWFL signals a new era for women in sports allowing
them to successfully compete in a sport they love," adds Kitchton.
"We think that bringing in sponsors who have products our league
and its players can use, is a smart thing and we are pleased to form
this association with Nikken," states league CEO, Catherine
Masters.
