National Women's Football League Unveils SupHer Bowl Logo
The SupHer Bowl will be held at the Pine-Richland stadium on July 27th at 7:00pm. The league, which is two years old, has made fantastic progress and has grown from 2 teams in 2000 to ten teams in 2001. The 2002 season has 21 teams competing for a chance to play in the SupHer Bowl. The league's website is receiving nearly 2 million hits monthly and last year's championship drew more than 5,000 fans. TN (June 19, 2002) The National Women's Football League, Inc. has
contracted with top graphic artist, Francis Santaquiliani for the logo
for the 2002 SupHer Bowl. "Francis has done nearly all of the logos
for our league and we feel he has the most distinctive signature with
his designs. We are most impressed with his work on this logo and we
feel it really tells the story about our league and women playing full
contact football," states media director, Debby Lening.
